    Search Google from address bar

Does this happen to be a Windows 2000, NT or XP box? If so, here's what I found. I login under user1, I can't use the autosearch from the address bar. I logoff, log back in as administrator, and I can use the autosearch function just fine. MAKE SURE TO EXPORT/BACKUP THE WHOLE REGISTRY BEFORE...

    SQL Server 3.70 ODBC Driver

Since nobody else knew how, I'll share with you. The driver is located in C:\winnt\system32 or C:\windows\system32. It's named SQLSRV32.dll. I removed the XP driver and copied one from a Windows 2000 box. It was that easy. Unfortunately, the experienced error, was not corrected by using an...

    SQL Server 3.70 ODBC Driver

Does anyone know how to rollback to a SQL Server 3.70 ODBC Driver on a Windows XP Pro workstation? I've tried installing MDAC 2.5 SP2, but I get a message stating the 2.5 version is already installed. But I know MDAC 2.5 never came with a SQL Server 2000.xxx.xx ODBC driver. Regardless, it...

Open a form to create ONLY ONE new record, not multiple new records.

Actually the Cycle Property does not affect the scroll wheel on the mouse. I was still able to scroll to the next/new record after entering the first field. Any other ideas, someone? Thank you for the help.

Open a form to create ONLY ONE new record, not multiple new records.

Hi all, I want to open a form to enter only one new record. So, I set the "Data Entry" property of the form to 'Yes.' However, I don't want to be able to add any other records except for the first new one. Unfortunately, "Data Entry" mode allows multiple new records to...

Help with second Raid controller in ML350 Server

Thank you for the help everyone. I have not had a chance to update the hardware, yet. But, I did find my way around the HP/Compaq site to find ML350 specific downloads. And there I found SMART-2 card and 431 card rompaqs, disk drive rompaqs and a BIOS rompaq. I will be installing probably...

Help with second raid controller in single server

Thank you for the reply Beaghler. We have NT. Everything is up and running. I did however have trouble during POST with the SMART-2 card. A warm reboot would bring up a 101-option erro. But, with the rompaqs to update the SMART-2 and ML350 BIOS we are in good shape now. Thanks again. Henry

Help with second Raid controller in ML350 Server

Well, it may have gone smoothly. I was able to start the smart start CD and configure the drives from boot up. But, when I tried to go into NT Disk Administrator, the ML350 rebooted instantly. And now I get a 101-OPTION checksum error during POST on the SMART-2 card. I don't know if the...

Help with second Raid controller in ML350 Server

My company bought a Compaq ML350 with a Smart Array 431 connected to 4-18 GB Compaq drives, a little over a year ago. Who'd of thought we would run out of space so soon? So, I thought of upgrading the 4 drives with 36 GB drives. But it doesn't make much sense to replace brand new drives just...
