You will need to make the media type HCART. When you inventory the library, look under media mappings and you will see the media mappings for LTO4 which would be LTO_800G is set to 1/2 " cartridge tape. I tried to update the vm.conf but it didn't work.
This was resolved with the help of support
I had to run the following command....
vmchange -g 87a409fe-35e8-499b-969e-3a284544b30e -m <media_id>
then retry the import which succeeded.
I am running Netbackup 5.1 MP2 on Solaris 9.
I'm trying to run the phase 1 import on a backup exec tape. The tape arrived unlabelled, so I slapped a new unused label on and inventoried it in the robot.
When I run the phase 1 import, I receive a status code 176 and the error states "Error bptm...
Thanks! I was able to delete the robot without any issues. The robot has been out of commission for quite a while so there were no volumes assigned. Thanks for you help.
I previously had 3 robots in production but removed one of the robots which is labelled PCR(1).
I also have robots 0 and 2. Will it hurt anything if I remove robot 1 or is it going to cause Robot 2 to be re-numbered?
