I'm trying to add lto4 drives to Unix Netbackup 6.0Mp5 backups but all the pulldown menus only show LTO3s or less. Is there a way to update the software to recognize lto4s?

You will need to make the media type HCART. When you inventory the library, look under media mappings and you will see the media mappings for LTO4 which would be LTO_800G is set to 1/2 " cartridge tape. I tried to update the vm.conf but it didn't work.
