Right now it is programmed exactly as you have written above
(Although originally programmed witout the N)
If I dial ** it does not work. We do not or never have dialled ** before the number
I do not have a ** shortcode in the system
All our calls do route through the LCR provider (or thats...
Only in the shortcode field, I don't know what ARS is nor do I see it in Office Manager.
The **N shortcode targets Line group 0 and the LCR targets line group 0 also
I changed my LCR to read 1052N
But if i dial ** it still says disconnected
I am waiting on a reply from my LCR carrier to see if they are billing us, but being in Spain, this could take a while!!
Hi Guys,
This is the way it is programmed now
Shortcode to withhold number
Code ?
Feat Dial
Tel .W
Least Cost Route
Code **N
Feat Dial
Tel 1052
If i dial ** in front of the number as mentioned, i cannot dial out. Just says call disconnected
Thanks for the info guys,
I will chase this up and make the necessary changes
Now I understand why my Avaya tekkie is no longer an Avaya Tekkie.
Adios, for now and thanks again to all
HI Guys
I have tried
1052W
1052NW
and still no luck.
It was originally programmed without the N by an Avaya Partner, so i left it like this and works ok without it
I am based in Spain
My LCR is
code **N
Tel 1052
Feat dial
If i change to
code **N
Tel W1052
Feat Dial
Should this work? Is the W case sensitive?
I'm sure i tried it but will try again to be sure
I have 8 ISDN lines giving me 16 outgoing channels.
I would ask the provider, but normally they take so long to do anything, i figured a shortcode or something would be quicker.
I have the system setup to dial 1052 before every call for least call routing but not sure how to incorporate the...
Hi,
Sorry if this has been answered before but i want to stop my IP406 3.2(54) sending caller ID info and all of my attempts have failed.
I have 16 lines and use least cost routing on them all.
What is the best way to achieve this?
Thanks
Thanks Platinum Guy
I saw my error immediately when i read your reply.
I had the login code but was dialling *35*201# and i thought it would prompt me for the code, but using your way has worked first time
Thanks again

I can logout by using *36, but if I want to login a different extension using *35*N#, i get call rejected everytime, even for the default number. By dialling *36 again, i can login the default number.
