Stop Caller ID 1

Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered before but i want to stop my IP406 3.2(54) sending caller ID info and all of my attempts have failed.
I have 16 lines and use least cost routing on them all.
What is the best way to achieve this?

Its probably easier to get the carrier to do it.
What type of lines do you have. You have not said??

I have 8 ISDN lines giving me 16 outgoing channels.
I would ask the provider, but normally they take so long to do anything, i figured a shortcode or something would be quicker.
I have the system setup to dial 1052 before every call for least call routing but not sure how to incorporate the caller ID issue.
 
You need to make a small adjustment to LCR.

if you have an shortcode of.

Tel Dial

W Witholds.

If you have no modification in lcr you will have a system sc of

Feat Dial

You put a W before the dialed number in the short code, I guess you have already tried this?
 
You will need the W for all your LCR modifications not just the 2 example above.

Should this work? Is the W case sensitive?

I'm sure i tried it but will try again to be sure

The tel should be 1052W not the way you have it.

I would have thought it would be yes. I copied the Tel 1052 bit assuming this is what he already has in place and working!

I know here I have seen the NW and not just the W.

HI Guys

I have tried

1052W
1052NW

and still no luck.
It was originally programmed without the N by an Avaya Partner, so i left it like this and works ok without it
 
Have you a shortcode in system shortcodes similar to:

Also it is reliant upon your providor supporting this feature! it says this in the short codes section of the help file!!

No probs, You do realise you have to dial **then the number you want for your LCR to work!!
 
I did not realise, the Avaya tekkie said it was automatic.
Although maybe i should check with the service provider to make sure
