Digital sets tend to have the same time as the system time, in my experience.
However, IP sets don't match. They're always out by some amount.
IP sets don't keep the time. Instead, they're sent a message every minute telling them a new string of text to display on the screen. Unfortunately...
Does it happen with IP phones and not with digital phones?
Check that the default gateway is configured correctly on the IP phones.
Make sure that all IP phones in all sites can route to all IP phones in all sites.
I've seen similar problems before.
When a digital phone is on a phone call over the SIP trunk, then there's a voice path from the phone to the BCM (over digital) and another voice path from the BCM to the VOIP provider (over IP).
When an IP phone is on a call over the SIP trunk, there may be...
Did you change the public OLI of the callpilot DN(s)?
I know you say you've tried all you can think of, but this is all I can think of. I've a feeling that the callpilot DN is the one that is dialing out.
I had the same problem as well, on BCM450 R1. It all worked fine for me for a long time and then one day a long number would not work when redirecting the target line. I noticed that if I removed the last few digits from the number, it was accepted. Of course, this would not work as desired, but...
Some versions of Outlook are set to automatically send a read-receipt when a mail is read.
Some versions of Outlook are set to never send a read-receipt when a mail is read.
I suggest you make sure that your Exchange server is allowing the read receipts to be sent back to the BCM. Furthermore...
1. Power up the BCM
Status - Orange solid
Power - Orange solid
2. Wait 5 seconds
When the power light starts to blink orange,
press the reset button TWICE.
3. Then the lights are
Status - Red blinking
Power - Red solid
4. Wait 5 seconds
When the both lights are blinking quickly...
Ok, it was just worth mentioning.
Yes, telcodog's suggestion is a good one. Just put on a Try-n-buy feature that you're not going to use. You'll get a whole new file.
Are somehow remotely accessing this system?
I've seen this problem before on BCM50, where remote access would not work for entering the keycode. when the technician went to the BCM system and connected directly into the OAM, the keycode got loaded fine.
Server: No Ports Left" means that the phone has successfully contacted the PBX but that there are not enough licences available.
Yes, when you get the licence and apply it, the phone should be able to register.
Depending on what way you've the settings for this in the EM, the phone may ask for...
Ok, open notepad and paste this text in.
SystemId: 0016CA3F0D04
Sequence: 1
KeyType: 2

Then change the last line to the 24-digit number you got when you logged in at...
Yes, you can. You should be able to do that.
The Sequence number is 1.
Use the drop down menus to change those four features (Int Analog Sets etc) to the values mentioned above.
Then enter the entitlement code as one 24-digit number - without spaces - in the box below (labelled "Keycode", I...
Yes, the Entitlement-Code is three 8-digit numbers, which together make up the 24-digit keycode number.
In the Feature-Codes section (after logging in with F9*8), you should see the SystemID, the SequenceNumber (make a note of this also) and the FeatureList. Make sure you make a note of...
Well, as telcodog states, you could get the licence file again from the KRS, but you could also possibly get it from the system.
Often, even if the installer changed the Element Manager (access from a PC) password, he may not have changed the password for login from a telset.
Try logging in...
I've seen this on BCM50 and BCM450, but only for IP handsets, not on TDM handsets, which are exactly the right time.
I've tried level1-resetting the BCM50, but the problem remains - the phones change time exactly 13 seconds past each minute, both before and after the reset. Other BCM systems...
Sorry for the delay.
The setting for Audio Jack is in
Configuration - Applications - Music.
There's a drop-down list of
Music Manager
Audio Jack
Streaming Server
When the BCM450 was released, the maximum number of analog sets was 48.
(I don't know whether this is still the limit now.)
I would recommend using T7000 sets over analog phones, considering that they're very cheap and have a feature button and message light.
