No event logs. Randomly when attempting to use the media card reader it will not function and the sounds quits working. Have to reboot to make either function after.
My pc is constantly needing to be rebooted due to either the sound not working or the media card reader not working. Any answer to help resolve this is appreciated.
I am trying to call and fill an adobe form through .net. So far, able to do it in adobe 5, 6, and 7. Can't get it to work in 8. Any help is truly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Try going to control panel - Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices - sounds and audio devices - Advanced Audio Properties - and select the speaker scheme you want to use.
Couple of more tricks I have been reading elsewhere about--Try using a file with no special characters<>Try zipping the file and moving<>Also, possibility that destination drive or the currently used drive has errors.
You maybe missing a patch that was sent out. Try going to Microsoft and run all of the updates. Also, check to see if they have upgraded the repair disk.
It sounds like your shortcut has gotten pointed to the wrong place. Can you go into your start menu and open the application from there? Or even by going to your c:\program files and find and run the app from there?
If it was originally listed as a drive then it may have been part of the domain as a profile based drive. You want to try and add the laptop back on to the domain to see if the drive is available and then copy the files to a usb drive or the harddrive.
Try opening a folder and select the tools menu and then folder options. There will be an offline files tab with a button at the bottom of that tab that says "view files" that should take you to where the offline files should be. Good Luck.
I would then rename her current profile to XXXXXold and then create a new profile and see if it resolves the issue. If it does, then copy over neccesary files from the old profile.
