I am getting this error message when I am trying start Office. The message is DLL or APP C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office 11\mso.dll is not a valid Windows Image.

It sounds like your shortcut has gotten pointed to the wrong place. Can you go into your start menu and open the application from there? Or even by going to your c:\program files and find and run the app from there?
