well. I did some research and tried adding "prefix 911" to my dial peers that have "destination-pattern 911".
we successfully tested this at each location.
Thanks for all your help.
Ok. After running the analyzer with multiple scenarios, all the results appear the same. These results also match the results I get when I use a number that is routed correctly. is there anything at the Gateway level that I should look at even though nothing has changed? I am planning on...
ok, i test these every time a change is made to telco and/or annually.
Im running Cisco Unified Call Manager System version: 6.1.3.1000-16. I have 8 locations, this is happening to all 8.
The last time I tested it (early this year, no changes just a test) it worked. I could pick up the phone...
All good ideas. Aftertaf's post was the winner. Thank you all. The PCs having the issue had the following line in the PATH statement
\\<SERVER>\NETLOGON
Where <SERVER> is the name of the server at that location that was removed as a DC.
Thanks again.
I have removed the PCs from Domain, no change
I have changed IP address, no change
There are no shortcuts, printers, or mapped drives that I can see.
If I disable the network connection (unplug cable), it works fine.
All the pcs are the same physically - hardware & drivers
I do not understand MRU?
Ok, Im at my wits end here.
I have 6 locations (including main site), each location has a local server. main site has primary DC. Each site server is also a DC. all pcs are xp pro with current patches.
If local site server is turned off or offline, several pcs (not all) at that site freeze...

If your company has never had something like this...

I noticed a few holidays ago that it had stopped playing the...

I am doing some testing trying to make some features work.
I have a Cisco Unity Connection version: 2.1.0.9901-362
and Exchange 2000 running on win 2000 svr.
I have successfully set it up where i can hear my email being read to me (TTS) when connected to Unity checking my normal voice...
one thing to remember in addition to prioritizing is to communicate effectively with the "victim" of the issue. This can be a quick call or email, just to let them know that you have not forgotten. that was my biggest challenge in health care in that the MDs and nurses would not hear from my...
I use Berbee's Informacast software. I dont know who it is now, they have changed hands several times.
its decent, i cannot page every phone though. Their design allows for an all page and pageing to seperate groups (customer created), but its just my current setup that keeps me from hitting...
