ok, i test these every time a change is made to telco and/or annually.
Im running Cisco Unified Call Manager System version: 6.1.3.1000-16. I have 8 locations, this is happening to all 8.
The last time I tested it (early this year, no changes just a test) it worked. I could pick up the phone and press 911, call would go to the 911 center. I could also press 9911 and it would yield the same results.
Now when you dial 911 nothing happens. when I dial 9911, I am presented with dialtone again, but it does not sound like the normal DT that call manger uses. its almost like im being connected directly to the phone line.
Im using POTS at all the gateways. I have the route patterns setup the same as from installation (no changes or mods). The gateways have not been changed.
The only way to reach 911 is to: pick up phone, dial 9911, wait for abnormal dial tone, then dial 911 again.
At that point it routes ok as the address is being verified and matches the site it should.
Any ideas?
