basically all you need to do is verify daily it made a nightly backup, verify pbx connectivity, and disk space. Those are my daily routine and allow me to spot anything that I might need to fix.

hunt group... your "extension" to call will be the number associated with the hunt group... you have to use EC500 to be able to send calls to a cell phone however and get them back if no one answers without the cell phone VM picking up... If you don't have EC500 it won't be possible to use cell...

i think you can do this with a call park button instead of putting them on HOLD... the call needs to be parked.

I have an ASAI-BD alarm on one of my PN's. However the ASAI-BD has been replaced some time before I got here by a MAPD board. When I run a Test alarm l cl on the asai it says board not inserted, but when I do a list config all it shows that it suppose to be a MAPD board, but it also says no...

also forgot to note, if they have voice mail you'll need to setup 2 coverage paths. one that covers to voice mail on everything except Send All Calls and one that forwards to your remote coverage on Send All Calls ONLY. hope that makes sense...

Yes you can.... I'm not sure if an SI has EC500 capability but I doubt it. If not my favorite way is to use Send All Calls to forward the number to the cell phone It involves utilizing a coverage path that transfers calls when the phone is in Send All Calls mode... use a remote coverage path...

meh, i got concerned and i figured out what they did... that 1500 extension just goes to our operator and the operator dials 911 for us... scratch that... although you could use the same principle and use a VDN to dial 911... but thats just a hassle.

this is an old thread, but the answer is it should be converse-on skill xx pri x passing wait and VDN to pass on VDN information when using converse-on

the bad news is, after doing some reading, looks like you possibly have a fiber issue... read through starting at page 1509 and follow the troubleshooting steps... hope that helps.
