Went to another site (same customer) today and attempted the same setup. Verified site is an MICS 6.1 XC USA.
Programmed T7316E for target line appear & ring, set capabilities line redirection to Y,
Programmed feature 84, intercom, 9 and the phone number for redirection and press the line...
We need to set this up without using a physical phone set and the phone we were testing the line redirection from is a phone that had multiple target lines and we only want one to forward/redirect outside. I ended up using an analog station off their ASM mod and forwarded to new route that I...
I'm able to turn off redirect, answer the call then transfer it externally so don't think Telco is an issue, I don't think the call ever leaves the premise but instead goes straight to the operators phone
I would have to check the NVRAM cart, is that something the version number in the Maintenance view could tell me? It's XC 6.1 which I thought would only work on release 02, but I'll check at their other site tomorrow.
Thanks,
Thank you all for your suggestions, I'm truly baffled as I've used line redirection on MICS customers in the past and never encountered this problem.
I'm going out to a different MICS site tomorrow (same client)and attempting to setup the same operation. I'll keep you advised.

Attempted to set this up today.
Programmed ext. 8599 to allow line redirection
Programmed target line 224 (DID rec'd digits 8566)to appear and ring at 8599
Programmed target line 224 as public, ring at prime line 8599
From ext 8599 I activated F84, pressed intercom (using PRI) to dial out...
I resorted back to using an analog extension from an available ASM port and forwarded to a dest number (using forward no answer 2 rings in Capabilities)with a new route that dials the external number, works fine.
I sure would like to know why the line redirection doesn't work, we're an XC6.1 out...
Line Redirection does not work, I programmed the target line to appear and ring, programmed the T7316E to allow redirection, I set the redirection via feature 84, select intercom so it goes out on their PRI, I select intercom and redirect the line button.
When I call the redirected target line...
I've done this before using an analog extension, forwarding it to a Route I created that in turn sends the call to a Destination phone number.
Is there another way to set this up without using a phone (digital or analog) extension?
MICS with 7.1, installed DTI card, installed PRI enabler codes, when I enable the PRI card in slot 1 of the KSU is still says unequipped, all my hardware programming looks good, but I can't sync up with the carrier.
any suggestions
We have a Call Pilot 100 ver. 3.0, approximately two years new. Just stopped working at our customers site.
I have it here at my shop, connected up my laptop to the serial port, when I power it on it looks like it's going to be fine, it displays:
INITIALIZES ATA DISK, OKAY
INITIALIZES PCMCIA...
Installed Call Pilot 100 with Desktop messaging seats. The Desktop messaging software loads fine and is working well with customers Outlook 2003 or newer versions. A user has Outlook 2000 and the Desktop Messaging does not work on his workstation. Any ideas, thanks
we've got it working great, not sure what their IT guy did but all is happy and working. I'll update you when I find out what he did. you're right I think it was something in Outlook or his firewall.
thanks for the feedback
