Questions on Meet-Me-Bridge for Cisco UCM

Hi- Just a question on how Meet-Me-Bridge for UCM works. The Cisco doc states that: "For the Cisco Software Conference Bridge—The maximum number of audio streams is 128. With 128 streams, a software conference media resource can handle 128 users in a single conference, or the software...

Cisco L3 switch for new Gig-E Internet- Any suggestions?

Thanks Vince. I do have a preference for Cisco, which is why I think 3750 is a good choice. But if you're on a cross-road and have to decide if using an L3 switch vs. a router (ie 29xx or 39xx), which would you end up choosing?

Cisco L3 switch for new Gig-E Internet- Any suggestions?

I forgot to mention that this is via Ethernet hand-off, so no need for fiber modules.

Cisco L3 switch for new Gig-E Internet- Any suggestions?

Hi- Our company is planning to upgrade our Fast-E to a new Gig-E Internet connection. I'm currently in a look-out for a Layer 3 switch to replace the current 3750. What do you guys suggest? I won't be running any fancy routing such as BGP so no particular need for higher memory models. I do...

How to change the IOS directory when a 3750 boot-up?

Thanks Andy. The "boot system" command allows me to change the location of the new IOS. You're right, I simply copy the .bin file direct to the flash root directory and delete the old IOS folder using the /f /r.

How to change the IOS directory when a 3750 boot-up?

Hello- I've upgraded my switch firmware from IPBase to IPSevices. The download works well but upon boot-up, it will look for the old IOS first and display this error: Error loading "flash:/c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-50.SE5/c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-50.SE5. bin" It will still load using the new IOS...

What ACL to put on my IPSec L2L VPN to block non VPN traffic

Hi- I was able to successfully set-up point-to-point L2L VPN using Cisco routers. Now my problem is I want to put up an ACL on the WAN interface (facing the Internet) so that it will deny everything else except my L2L VPN tunnel. Any ideas on how my ACL should look like? Is it ok to block...

WAN Load Balancers: which do you suggest?

We are on the market for WAN Load Balancers, primarily to provide 100% uptime to our Data Center. We have two Fast-E from two different carriers and we want automatic fail-over in case one fails. What brand is most common? RADWARE Linkproof? Cisco? Thanks.

How to check the status of CDR link (using DB9) to ECAS?

Hi- We have our Prologix connected to our ECAS server for some time using a serial cable. Yesterday, ECAS stop receiving data from the PBX. I'm not sure if it's the link or the ECAS server COM port that is faulty. Which command on the PBX will show the status of this CDR link? I haven't done...

Avaya removed my super-user admin access?

    Thanks AvayaTier3. I'll try that craft2 login.

Avaya removed my super-user admin access?

So the only way to get super-user access again is by going back to Avaya for the monthly maintenance? They cost really a lot.

Avaya removed my super-user admin access?

Thanks guys. I've checked my "system-parameters customer-options" and you're right, all the DS1, Station and Trunk, and processor and System MSPs are all set to N. The "dadmin" login is set to Y however. Now, I'll be talking with the new provider today. What's the best way to tell this to...

Avaya removed my super-user admin access?

Hi- I canceled my maintenance agreement with Avaya and switch to a local provider with a lower monthly cost. I didn't notice this initially after the switch (maybe after a month or so) but for some reasons, some of my admin commands such as busyout or release trunks are no longer there. I...

Link status is "up", but why I get busy tone dialing the Audix?

Thanks all for the help and the ideas. I think I've fixed the problem. All the troubleshooting I've done is remotely and through the browser. I've asked someone to physically check any errors he's seeing on the monitor of the Audix server. There were bunch of them, which is stopping the Audix...

Link status is "up", but why I get busy tone dialing the Audix?

To correct my last post, the last record on the Admin Log is actually 8/8, which was the time we have a power failure. Which is accurate since after that, the AUDIX went "offline".

Link status is "up", but why I get busy tone dialing the Audix?

Nothing on the Admin Log is showing anything that's related into this. That's actually funny since we have a power failure last Friday which I think caused this problem, but the Admin Log didn't record it.

Link status is "up", but why I get busy tone dialing the Audix?

The only remedy I'm seeing from the past posts is re-installing the software to bring back the Audix on-line. My problem is I haven't done this before and have no idea where to start. I also don't know if we still have a copy of the CD (this system is more than 10 years old).

Link status is "up", but why I get busy tone dialing the Audix?

I did start the Audix software several times but it keeps on getting OFFLINE. I guess this is the reason why we get busy tone dialing the Voicemail hunt group.

Link status is "up", but why I get busy tone dialing the Audix?

Thanks for the reply. Calling the hunt group number will get me a busy signal. It will ring if I call the individual ports (all are "on-hook"), but the Audix will not answer, just keep on ringing. Here's what the System Monitor is showing: System Monitor System Name: audix.abscbnina.local...
