I'll have to check the patches
Java is up to date. I did not try http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/callpilotmanger, however I did try https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/voicemail-cgi-bin/f983wui.exe and got the same error. Yes, I am using the Launch button. I read one post where the BCM name had something to do with this issue after upgrading...
Another tech performed an upgrade om a BCM50 from r3 to r6. He said everything went ok. However, I can not connect to the Call Pilot via my laptop. I get the following error, "A network problem was encountered. Please check your network settings." Call pilot and vmail are working properly...
Update: I went back to try to make this integration work again. Now I can not call the Cisco. I dial my Destination Digit 8 the the Cisco 4 digit extension and the system will try to connect, time out and display "Out of Service". Here is what I have programmed in the Nortel MICS:
Hardware...
I'm trying to connect a Nortel MICS with a Cisco call manager via T1 E&M Wink trunks. The Cisco system uses 4 digit extensions and the MICS uses 3 digit extensions. I am able to call extensions from the Nortel to the Cisco but when a Cisco users try to call the Nortel, they just hear ringing...
Customer has MICS running 5.0. There are 2 DTI cards installed. One is being used as a PRI. The other is configured as a T1 that is not being used. The customer wants to network that MICS with a Cisco switch. I thought that in order to do that the software had to be of the "XC" variety. Is...
I have a BCM400 with 4.0 software and the latest patches. I have 1 ASM 8 port analog station module in the main cabinet. The analog ports will intermittently loose dial tone. Sometimes it comes back on its own and sometimes I have to reset the port. Not all the ports loose dial tone at the...
I've read alot of posts regarding this but nothing that mirrors what I am trying to do. Customer has an IPO rel 9.0 with a UC module. The customer does not have an email server, they are using gmail, however, their email addresses are not myname@gmail.com, they are myname@xyzcompany.com. Some...
I have an IPO 500 that was upgraded to 8.1(69) in early October. I'm not sure if this issue is related to the upgrade because the customer can not give me a good idea of when her issue started.
I have a Hunt Group set up as Collective with 4 members.
Queuing is on.
Overflow is off
Fall back is...
Everything works on the BCM including vm i have rebooted I can connect directly via both LAN ports. I can dial in via modem. I can get on the network on-site and connect. I think it's a network issue. Just having a hard time convincing IT.
1. Default gateway is correct.
2. I can log in plugged into LAN 2 and LAN 1.
3. I was working with their IT guy today, you know how they are....it's never their equipment...LOL..
Here's an odd one. I have a customer who has a BCM 400 rel 3.7 at three different locations. All 3 are connected to the network at their location. The only reason they are connected to the network is so he can access each BCM from his office for admin purposes. There are no IP phones and...
We figured out the issue, oldestgeek is correct. Telco was sending all calls out as G.729. Their Adtran has a setting that should automatically convert CC machine and fax calls to G.711 but it was not. Had them set all calls to G.729 temporarily until they can get their Adtran unit replaced...
I have a BCM400 3.7 with all the latest patches loaded, PRI trunks. I have credit card machines and faxes set up on individual analog extensions. Faxes work fine. I am having issues with credit card machines working correctly. The cc company says it looks like the call is being dropped...
