Hi
I have two shares VPLOGON and VPHOME on my server that I didn't create. Maybe it's just default shares that are created when installing. I'm just wondering if they are important or if it would be ok to delete or "unshare" them?
Also there's a "Printers" share, is it possible to disable that...
I am trying to ping IP addresses of computers on my internal network with a Vista Ultimate Machine. When I do I get the following:
Reply from 192.168.1.1: TTL expired in transit (192.168.1.1 is actually the computer I'm pinging from and not the computer I'm pinging)
This should not be...

Yes I have tried doing that but that does not change the selected icons color. But it does however change the selected Text color.
So, no this does not work for me.
I did a search on the internet and apparenlty I'm not the only one that has issues with that color. And apparently there is no way...

When I click start and shutdown I find that having to click on a dropdown menu to select shutdown or restart and then click ok to get it to shutdown is kind of cheezy. Is there some way to make it buttons to click on or at least change it from the default "sleep" to something like restart that...
Hi, I do a lot of Windows XP reinstalls on different computers, which means downloading the updates everytime which takes quite some time. What I'd like to do is do a fresh install then do all the updates and then create an image with Norton Ghost and then just copy the image to the hard drive...
