The two sites were originally connected via H.323. But for business reasons we are separating into two companies. Prior to the separation, 7428 was a distant steering code on PBX A.
Essentially I can get the calls to hit the automated attendant on PBX B. I just want to bypass the automated...
Hi,
I'm trying to set up an offnet call from PBX A (CS1000E HA Rls 7.6) to PBX B (CS1000E HA Rls 7.6).
When a user at PBX A dials a DN (7428) which is cdp steering code, I want it to ring on DN (7428) on PBX B. So far, after configuration and testing, from PBX A I can dial 7428 and get the...
Thanks. I'll try that when I'm about to implement. I'm in the process of separating a voice network with 10 CS1000E into two separate companies...So I have to rebuild the systems because they now have different domain names. I try your suggestion with the voicemail.
Hi,
Has anyone ever configured one Callpilot server (201i) to service two different CS1000Es? I have one location with a CS1000E HA (Rls 7.6) and a CallPilot 201i (callpilot 5). I have another CS1000E (Rls 7.6 co-resident)which belongs to the same CDP network. Many users are moving to this...
Hi,
I have to rebuild a CallPilot 5 system (201i). I have the language prompts and Disk 2 and Disk 3 images. For some reason I can't find disk 1. Does anyone have a link for a copy of the images that I can download. I have the keycodes. Thanks.
Best regards
Terry
Hi,
I have a strange problem. At one location we have a CS1000E HA Rls 7.6. The two cores are in different physical locations. We lost power to the location with Core 0. We've restored power and I notice that the Callers List on the IP phones are no longer working. We have two CPDC cards (at...
Don't worry guys I figured it out.
I had to put the new keycode on the USB.
I then did a ksho usb but it indicated no keycode directory found. I created a folder on the usb called keycode and placed the keycode inside the folder.
ksho usb (worked. it was now seeing the keycode).
I then used...
Hi,
I've installed keycodes manually and via compact flash and floppy. I have to install a new keycode via a USB on a CPDC card. The system a Rls 7.6 CS1000E Co-Resident System.
How am I doing this in ld 143?
I really don't want to do it manually.
Thanks
Terry
I've actually never used the deployment manager to do an upgrade. I feel I might take your advice. I would feel more comfortable doing a clean install and load the database. I know the MGC can have issues, but I had so many I know how to resolve if I encounter.
The only applications running on...
Hi all,
I've done many upgrades in the past but I've never had to to an upgrade of a Co-Resident System. I'm moving from Rls 7.5 to 7.6. These are the steps I'm planning to take. Let me know if any of you guys have done an upgrade like this and what to look out for?
1. Backup my call...
Hi all,
I have a quick question regarding a feature on the CS1000E Rls 7.5. We have a location that has a CS1000E Rls 7.5. There are potential hazards at the location based on the nature of their operations. In the event that they have to evacuate 100 employees or so, is there a way in...
Ok so played around with this today.
Points to note
1. The default password is blank (as in no password)
2. Once logged in you can change the ELAN IP address, gateway and mask
3. Once you do this you can log into the web interface using (username - admin, password - admin)
4. You need to...
And that's the problem. In order to set the IP you have to log in. On booting I saw the default IP but no mask. So I even tried connecting my laptop to the card. But without the subnet mask I'm shooting in the dark.
I have a question though. Have you programmed a PRI gateway before. Is it that once you program it in the CallServer, it will automatically change the spans to T1 based on the programming on the Call Server?
I will try something tomorrow in the lab and let you know if it works.
Yes I did actually. Read the document many times actually, that's why I'm here.
It's the same document you are looking at. It doesn't work and this is a brand new gateway out of box.
It prompts you for a password. I spent an hour online chatting with someone from Avaya and they didn't know.
I'm connected to the PRI card (which can have up to 8 spans) in the MG1000E Chassis. The Chassis has an MGC card which is already registered to the CallServer and the second card is the NTDW70AAE5 (PRI Gateway E1/T1 main pack).
