I'm in the market to buy a new computer. I don't feel like taking the time to build one right now. Anyone know of any good products/prices going on right now? I know that this is a very broad question, however I am open to any suggestions. Thanks.
Ok, thank you guys. I figured it out with your help. FYI in Excel 2000, when you click on Save As, you have to go to the Tools icon on the right side of the windown and then select General Options. There you can password protect the sheet. Thanks again for both of your time.
Cheech, I am trying to restrict the admin from this folder.
Dale, When I click on Save As, there is no options selection. that is strictly for which drive/folder I want to save the file to.
I know how to password protect a sheet and a workbook in Excel. My question is, I have an Excel file on our server that I would like to password protect so that no one could open up that file and look at it. Is there a way of doing this in Excel or do I need to ask someone in the Novell Forum...
Why not just save the rpt file on your hard drive and only submit the exicutable to other users? This way they can only run the report but now edit any settings.
I know that this is not a Windows issue. I saw one time where he had Novell up and could dissable what people could see on their desktop. This is where he dissabled it. I just can not remember where exactly that is.
The IT guy at my work for some reason dissabled my screen saver option from the display of my monitor. When I right click on the desktop and go to properties, the only tabs available are Background, Appearance, Web, Effects and Settings. I do have administrator rights but am unfamiliar with...
I looked at the FAQ's and kind of found an answer to my question. The FAQ I am looking at is 3 different fields to same row. A CarolS said that if you create an alias table you can then link that table to the others and create a formula linking that field to the alias table. I understand how...
What I would imagine the forcast to look like is something like this:
Customer Day Avg./Forcast Product
Customer XYZ Mondays 400.00 Blue
Customer ABC Wednesdays 1200.00 Blue
Total Blue: 1600.00
Customer EFG Mondays...
No it is not a single figure for 2 months worth. I have it broken down like this....
Customer XYZ
Monday 07/02/01 500.00 pounds
Monday 07/09/01 300.00 pounds
Monday 07/16/01 400.00 pounds
Monday 07/23/01 400.00 pounds
Let's assume that these were my only...
I have a report that shows my sales over the past 2 months. Does CR have a function that can take that data and get the average of what we sold on any given day of the week and forcast what we should sell over the next 2 months? Or am I just having a case of wishful thinking?
Does CR have any function to do forecasting? To explain a little bit of what I am trying to do is, I have CR giving me a report of my sales for a certain time period. Let's just say the time period is 2 months. This will show every customer and what they bought and the day of the week that...
