I figured it out by looking through the NEAX 2000 ips manual. Turns out all you have to do is press *8 to activate DND and #8 to deactivate it, unless you are looking to program softkeys.
I'm not sure about the 2000 ivs. I know with the 2000 ips there is also a voicemail administraton console through which you can also turn the message light on or off. You might try looking there.
We currently use the inaset 240g phone with an neax 2000ips server. I was wondering how to set up the do not disturb function on a phone, or if there even is one these phones don't appear to have a DND button.
As far as I know the gui is built in and should work when asterisk is loaded. I download the .tar files for Freepbx, Asterisk, Zaptel, Libpri, Asterisk sounds, and add-ons. The files are unzipped installed and configured by using a script. Here is what I am using.

Does anyone know if there is a way to monitor the pri for an NEC IPS 2000. I searched the manual that I have but was unable to locate anything. I was wondering if there was a way to see if the pri is up through a Matworx function possibly.

I have an NEAX 2000 IPS with Inaset 240G phones. I am trying to set up a call pickup group, but I can't seem to get it to work. What are all the commands needed to set up a call pickup group?
Thank You for your help so far. When the phones were set up they had both a transaction box and a subscriber's box. We removed the transaction boxes because they were making using the voicemail to much of a problem.I have noticed that the MWI light seems to be tied to the interoffice extension...
I checked command 1303 and it is set to zero. Do regular users require transaction boxes? None of these users have them set up in the administration console.
