Folk's I have a customer that wants to check several mailboxes remotely, however she has to hang up and call back into voice mail to check the other mailboxes.
Is there a way to check multiple mailboxes without having to hang-up and call back?
Thanks in advance
Thanks
Think I'm going to have customer order 1 line from Verizon install it and have them use it along with Optimum, Then we'll know for sure
I'm done fighting Optimum
Ok here's my situation I have replaced everything from the 0/32 cabinet to the amphenol cable for the trunks, an older vintage trunk card. line voltage is 50volts DC and Optimum has replaced there cable modem device. Yet the problem still excists
Let me update all on the problem recieve a call...
I took my volt meter and found 50volts DC across Tip & Ring and off hook it went to 9volts.
I didn't think to check for ring voltage even though I've had a similar problem like this with VOIP lines and voltage.
Could I make any changes in the norstar line programing?
Call comes into Norstar and intermittently the call drops during mid conversation, light goes out on phone but caller still there, we seize the line again and continue conversation.
New install, Cable modem, Optimum, swapped out to an older vintage trunk card, and problem still excists.
Thanks in...
Didn't help still can't call between Nortel & Cisco and it's getting old real quick because I seem to be making all the changes yet the problem still exsists and the vendor installing the Cisco side keeps saying he's set up correctly yet I don't know enough about the Cisco to say he's wrong.

TIE route for me. I know that they say ni2 interface will work and it probably will. I bet something in the gateway needs to be changed. I saved the email from the cisco tech that stated what he changed. I'll look for it.
Rick any luck locating...

The four PRI's where they set as TIE or DID?
I'm having lots of luck with NI2 DID internal Cisco to Nortel are good and Nortel to Cisco are good, I just cant get an external call to the Cisco and can't Make external calls from Cisco out of the Nortel, calls end up @ reception phone.
What do...
Ok latest update seems that the call is making it to the Cisco phone it flashes and the phone rings for a brief audible signal and thats it. moment and thats it.
I get a busy signal on my end.
Any Ideas ???
Changed it to TIE made call from 914-227-6815 to Nortel did 203-422-7846 that CDP's to Cisco ended up reception after hour’s menu.

I did what you told me however the calls still go to the attendant.
This is how I set it up for NBLK
NBLK----> OVF OVF OVF RAN
RAN 20-----> This RAN is already recorded for something else.
What do you think am I missing something
Thanks
Mike
I’m trying to figure out a way to utilize the intercept treatment in LD 15 to redirect external calls for an extension who’s CLS is set to FR1 which under normal conditions are directed to the operator. I would prefer it go to a RAN or even better to the voice mail system.
Anybody have a clue...
I'm not using a DB15 I'm going to connect a 25 pair cable to the port I'm installing the TMDI card into and then I'm planning on punching down the 25 pair cable and cross connect a patch cord just to get the circuit up and running until we get the correct cable.
