Thanks for resposnes whykap and awginc,
I've found out this:
In Attendant Console 9.x, only the Premium Edition allows for synchronizing with external directories, and even then with very limited support.
In Attendant Console 9.x Enterprise Edition, the CUCM End User fields FIRST NAME, MIDDLE...
Help!
I simply can't find a way neither to import, nor to add manually, external contacts into an Attendant Console Enterprise Edition Directory.
User doc clearly says that the Attendant Console Directory can include both internal and external contacts, however in my case with the Enterprise...
Thanks for responding!
I've already involved TAC, but as this is considered a low priority case, that might take a while.
However, I think I found the full explanation on Cisco Support Community:
javalenc answers the following, to an almost identical question:
"BAT has NOTHING to do with...
When attempting to import a TAR-file from DMA6.1(5) into the new CUCM6.1(5) First Node, the BAT/Import stops with the following message:
"Unmapped Exception bad header in block 60640 record 10, header magic is not \'ustar\' or unix-style zeros, it is \'10511010165112112101\'..."
This surprise...
A third party system with softphone clients is integrated to CUCM4.1 over a SIP Trunk. Calls flow pretty OK in both directions, but inbound calls from third party system to Cisco IP Phones hear no Ringback Tone. Any ideas what to check?
I still have lots of customers with old Meridan systems, accessed remote by dial up modem connections. However good terminal emulators seems very hard to find these days. Have just tried to inst ProComm Plus 4.8, just to observe that my entire PC went unstable and Win XP seems damaged...
Thanks to both DallasBPF and pndscm. But i tried that increase MaxNumCalls from 4 to 5 for two LAB phones, and that didn't help. Could this probl be MTP-related?
This is a CCM4.2(3). Users suddenly started reporting problems transferring calls. I find Transfer Softkeys grayed out on every IP Phone checked. Have verified that MaxNumCalls=2 or more and og BusyTrigger=1 for every IP Phone.
Suggestions about what to check next?
Thanks fro reply, whykap.
As a MTP configured in CCM eats system resources, were not planning to use that. We have instead told the PSTN Provider to konfigure routings to all Phone IP addresses of our Voice VLAN, and that seem to work.
Hovever, I've found a couple of suggestions from other...
I have a CCM4.2(3) connected PSTN via two different Gateways, one MGCP-type and one H.323. Heres my problem:
When doing Blind Call Transfer out through MGCP, the transferred party hears Ringback Tone perfectly OK. But when doing this out through H.323, the transferred party hears nothing but...
Have been thinking exactly the same thoughts as you, but have no 100% perfect solution.
However, I've been implementing CCM-clusters combined with Thirdparty-systems, where I once in a while brought down and Ghost'ed all servers at the same point in time. Had no problem restoring those Ghost...
I've been thinking of implementing a real simple Group Call thing, by means of Shared Lines or Hunt Groups. Have anyone out there been doing some research about giving Announcements to caller, without implementing heavy stuff like IPCC? (Fx Customizing Announcements in an Annunciator?)
Problem solved. (Or at least one step further) I added those two lines suggested by "pndscm", but also found signs in Application Log indicating a mismatch between MGCP Domain Name in CCMAdmin and Domain Name in IOS. (Hostname-part was OK, but Domain-part misspelled) Instantaneus after...
My new Cisco 2811 configured as MGCP GW won’t register to CCM, and there’s no IP-address for it showing up in my CCMAdmin. In the Cisco 2811 IOS-konfig, I’ve set the following:
ccm-manager mgcp
ccm-manager config server 172.20.1.2
ccm-manager config
Have no name resolution by DNS, and have...
When attempting to log on to Historical Reports in IPCC Express Standard, I receive the following msg:
"All available licenses are in use by other client machines. Please try again later and check log file for error 5116"
Have checked that a Historical Reports User exist. Restarting all CRS...
PROBLEM:
Customer has a CCM4.1(2) cluster connected to a Nortel Meridian Network over QSIG. Customer wants some sort of simple Hunt solution for 3 users, each of them having one Cisco IP-phone and one Nortel DECT. These users sometimes want to answer Group Calls from DECT. Free choose of what...
Using "Route Plan Report" and searching for "All Patterns where Pattern/DN begins with...", gives me all occupied Patterns and Directory Numbers. However, when configuring a new Phone, you would like to know exactly the Oposite. Is there a way? (Referring to CCM 4.1(2))
(This seems to be one of...
