Yes, I can go to any phone on the network, and click the log off / log out button, and the display will be as mentioned. ---- You were correct, the "nouser" did get changed. Problem resolved.
We use the Avaya IPoffice 406 w/5410 5420 5610 phones.
This morning everybody's phone display shows the same oddity, when logged off. It shows three lines of info.
a=, b=, 1 1 5.
If you click the button labeled as "1<space>1<space>5"
you can then login, and all appears to be working normal.

Thanks for the reply... I figured it out, thx to your clue.
For hunt groups using the Ring Mode of Group, call waiting indication can be enabled. This is done by ticking the Call Waiting option on the Hunt Group | Hunt Group tab.
Note that for the group member to receive call waiting...
Hi, I'm using Manager 5.0 (69)... my question is, when i'm on the phone and someone calls a hunt group that i'm logged into, how do I make the system notify me (ring once, or flash, or something)?
We're using Avaya 5410 and 5610IP phones
Thanks in advance!

Hi... thanks for the info.
This did exactly what you said it would do. Unfortunately, it's not really what I'm looking for.
I'm trying to make the caller ID read 'Travel Dept', which has been programmed by AT&T.
Yes, that's what I was thinking, too...
I've tried (among others):
.
.SI
.SIW
N
NW
W
None work... I have a call into AT&T to try to figure it out...
thanks again.
True... which is why I put the short code for the main number in place, while AT&T programmed the text.
My question is, now that AT&T has finished that, how do I make the text appear, instead of my main number? What do I need to put into the short code...?
Thanks!
Hi... question from a newbie...
I have a shortcode that shows the outgoing caller ID as our company's main number:
Shortcode: [9]1N;
Telephone: Ns1xxxxxxxxxx
Line: 1(our PRI)
Feature: Dial3k1
I called my carrier (AT&T) to have them change the outgoing caller ID to read 'Travel Dept', which...
Hi... sorry... I mean the call log in the phones.
Looks like all you have to do is reboot the phone itself (boy, it's a pain being new to this... hehe).
Thanks!
Hi...
Well, with the time change came... you guessed it: a change in time. And now my system time is correct, but all the calls in the Call Log are an hour off.
Anyone know how I can get this fixed?
Thanks!!
Hi... we have a location where calls are routinely monitored. Is there any way for someone to know (via a report or something) who has been doing the monitoring and what extension(s) they've been monitoring?
Thanks in advance!
Sounds like you have a system that's very similar to ours. I just took over its management (the IT guy in charge of it is no longer with the company), and without any sort of training or help was able to figure a lot of it out, but it took a fair amount of trial & error.
I have a couple of...
Hi All,
My office is running an IP406 with an 8-port VCM... I'm about to upgrade to a 30-port VCM.
I'm totally new to this system and have never even shut it down before (the guy who managed it was fired). So, my questions to the group are...
1. What's the best way to safely shut the system...
