BACK TO THE PAST :)
I am looking for information on ISDN 8510T phone model numbers.
I know that there were at least a few types of markings for this model, e.g.
AT&T Part No. 106604432 8510TAD03A-264
Lucent Part No. 107994907 8510TND05A(RS)N-003
Lucent Part No. 107783615 8510TAD03A(RS)-264...
I had to change the addressing of System Platform 6.3, unfortunately I made a mistake by typing the wrong (from other subnet) default gateway address. I can log in to DOM-0 using the putty console, but C-DOM and LSP and US are unreachable. I tried to use the service port S8300 address but to no...
I would like to ask for help in solving the problem of redirection through the IPO 9.1 Server Edition PBX (as a transit PBX).
Calling person (calling from outside) -----> SIP Trunk1 ---> IPO 9.1 SE ----->SIP Trunk2 ----> IVR in other PBX
An SIP trunk...
OK, I checked again. In system are 650 one-X portal users. IPO 9.1 SE working on VMware with allocated:
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v4 @ 2.60GHz
Speed: 2593MHz
Cores:4
Hard Disk Size: 98.1G
RAM: 15.5G (was 8GB, we added next 8GB)
One-X portal is still very unstable. CPU load varies...
We have IPO 9.1 with working One-X Portal and Presence Server. Presence is cyclically crashes (every few days, but mostly on working days when it's used). Presence stops showing status, an error occurr while attempting to log into One-X Server, so nothing else can be checked. It only helps...
What do you mean? In the Definity system set to a-law, the phone starts, but the sound is distorted. If I change into "system parameters country-options" the "Companding Mode" parameter from A-law to u-law, the phone works 100% correctly. So these phones are not damaged, they works in u-law...
Hello
I received 8520T phones from my client and launched them in my laboratory. The phones work correctly, but only in u-law mode. Our systems require A-law mode. How can I change the settings ISDN 8520T phones from u-law to A-law?

But you have to admit that buy two phones with identical damage isn't an everyday situation. I don't just mean boxes, I rate the technical condition of the phones as 10/10. They certainly don't look like they have been removed from the desk and renewal was not limited to wiped the housing using...
I know, they had the status "Refubrished by the manufacturer." They were packed in original boxes with a characteristic adhesive tape, which is used for boxes with Avaya equipment. I know how the packaging of such equipment looks like, because I work in a company that is a business partner of...
@joe2938
I don't diminish your knowledge and experience, but was unlikely for me, that the two new phones removed from the box could be damaged. I was convinced that this is a configuration problem.

My customer sent me today these 8520T. I will be check it in my lab, after connect to other definity system. I'll let you know how I'll be after testing.
Thank you AvayaTier3
OK, that you still provided me information about 8510T. This type working properly in my system. I have problem with 8520T only.
8520T don't have physically switch for settings terminating resistor and must use external power supply. All status are good: status station is in service, in-hook /...
Hi bsh
Thank you for your answer. I don't conceal, that I was waiting for your opinion.
What you have written makes sense, but in this case I have only one phone connected to port 01B1312. In this system I don't see the possibility of entering the "Endpt ID" for an 8520T station, the same is...
I have several pieces of these phones and each one does not work in the same way. The port is IMHO efficient, if the 8510T works here without any problems. I suspect a configuration problem here.
Hello
At the beginning I apologize for my basic English :/
My customer bought 8520T ISDN phones for his old Definity system (G3siV6, G3V6i.03.0.223.5, offer cat:A).
He connected it to TN556B BRI Line card. 8510T ISDN phones have been working without any problems in this system. 8520T is on the...
