We have Partner Messaging rel 7.0, I will be adding a new line and need to know if the line is busy can incoming calls be setup to go into voice mail so they can leave a message? Or do I need to install two lines that roll. We want to set up something so that we don't miss any calls.
Tried the #728 and it did not fix the problem.
The only programing I have done is reinitialize a mailbox and it worked fine. And reprograming would take some time, we have two companies with menus etc... But I'm starting to get convinced that that is my only option.
Is there any thing else...
Ok, so I should remove battries wait, replace, then program #989(?, did not find this code in my mannual)at ext. 10? Sorry if I'm a little slow to get it. (previous Bell Atlantic tech., have had to learn how to work and program this partner a little at a time)
Yes, I am programming from Ext. 10. When I got the system back up my menus and exts. and outcalling settings were still programmed. I do not want to loose those settings. I thought that if I did a reset everything would go back to default, which I don't want. Is there another way to set the...
Thanks, I was able to get the system back up!, but now I can not set the sys. date and time. Every time I type in the date next Data it goes back to 000000, same thing happens with the time. Do you know how I can fix this?
I am using #101 for the date and #102 for day and #103 for time.
I pulled the two 380 cards out and also disconnected everything from the processor, then powered up again and I still had a solid red light. Is there anything else I can try?
Had power outage this weekend, now our ACS processor 3.1 has a red light, the 2 308 cards are green. I have power down the system but the light is still red. What does this mean? And how do I get the system back up?

We do not need a 1 before pager #. I made sure that there were no restrictions via #302, #401 or #405. I had outcalling turned on. I will try using a butt set. I will also put the pager #'s in a system speed dial.

Did you get your outcalling issue solved? I am also having issues with setting up outcalling to a pager. I have tried the different configurations. We had a Partner Mail VS 5 and upgraded to Partner Messaging release 7. I had it setup as 9*4103333333******21#, Mail VS 5 and it worked...
