I have a client on Great Plains v7.5 that when one user exports a budget, the screen seems to freeze, and they get a Smart Heap Library MEM_BAD_POINTER error. The export seems to hang forever although does populate into an excel spreadsheet. Any ideas?

Because the cash receipt was deposited into the bank rec module, you need to void the deposit. Voiding the cash receipt backs it out of AR and the GL, but the deposit needs to be voided separately. Try that... Sue

Is it showing in a (_) as a negative amount?

The Bank Reconciliation is not Date sensitive, so the Date entered during the Reconcile will have no influence on whether or not the voided transactions will show. When a transaction is voided before it has been reconciled, it will not be available to check off in the Select Bank Transactions...

There is a new automated solution on MBS that will run through this process almost seemlessly. It even runs the Interid.sql script when done. Let me know if you want to try it out!

It sounds more like a security setting to a modified report in company B for this user. Have you verified that they have access to the same modified reports in both companies? Sue
