Do any of you guys have any experience with CME as this product is new to me?
I have set this up and everything seems pretty good, except.......
I am getting nothing apart from extension and dial tone on the SIP Endpoints.
Investigating the SES, the CM link is up but the SMS link stays down...
Hi,
Anybody have any suggestions with a MWI problem I'm having.
When I restart the MM MWI Service I get an error in the application log - event id 143, Failed to Get Credential for ..... IMAPI.
Now, I have tried:
Re-typed the password in security setting of mas
Moved the password from mss1...
Hi,
That sounds like a bit of a strange setup to me. The S8300 (as far as I am aware) cannot control the remote G650 and so I thougt you would of potentially been better off with a G700 stack at the remote location.
As for the IPSI, I think you need to turn VLAN tagging on as well but you need...
Hi, the commands you are looking for is:
set snmp community xxxx - and then do a help for ro/rw/trap (I think it readonly, readwrite, trap).
Hope this helps
Try statusing the link associated with the data module associated with the c-lan.
Make sure the c-lan is connected and can talk to the network.
That deal with the ip side, am a bit confused about what you are saying in terms of inads - your trying to dial in via the inads port and that says...
Tyke,
Then it's definetly down to your mgp timers/ mgc list
Don't forget the values are in minutes, this confuses people.
e.g.
mgc list
clan1
clan2
------------
lsp
mgp primary search 3
mgp total search 10
transistion point (obvious) in this example it's 2
So, in this example, the...
Tyke,
If you give mem your e-mail address i'll send you a copy of the "IP Telephony Implementation Guide" & the "4600 Series IP Telephone LAN Administrator's Guide" but you'll probably be better off getting them direct from support.avaya.com.
Well your not giving us much to go on!!!
Can you tell u what yur link is between the two atleast.
But, saying that, i've seen a problem similar to this with a load of slips when there's no clocking source been set up - maybe worth checking your synch sources.
Hi, obviously it's difficult for me to say without being there on site to get a proper handle on it.
Do you have seperate voice and data vlan's (I guess you do)?
The standard, Avaya recommended way is to have the default vlan the data vlan, the phone then boots and and get's it's option 176...
Hi Tyke,
Now it's sarting to make sense (I think) - you are using pc's off the back of the phones or having a dual voice/data lan.
The option 176 string above, is that for the data or voice vlan?
The data vlan dhcp option 176 should have a l2qvlan=[voice vlan] value in the option 176 string...
Just re-read your post - the fact that it's complaining about no mcipadd is a problem.
I've seen it before when it's been cutand pasted with an extra ' at the strat of the mcipadd. It seems like this s the likely source of the problem.
I suggest trying to double, double-check the option 176...
I guess she is in telecommuter mode and the telephone is her home pstn line?
I think it's possibly a time out delay due to different digit length in the ars table.
Get her to log back in with a # at the end of her home pstn telephone number as a test - if that works, then have a look at the...
There's a few ways of doing this but the way I would do it is to replace the employees extension with a non-ddi number.
Then create a vdn with the employees original ddi extension and then point that to a vector which does a check on the ani digits and only routes if they do not match the ANI...
OK, that's good.
Then, I think what might be happing is that your breaking the WAN, the phones are not registering to the main C-Lan's and then attempting to register to the LSP but the request is being rejected as the LSP is not in survivable mode.
The best way to test this, set up an ip...
