I can't tell you for sure, but I am going to guess no. I'm unclear as to why something like that would matter since it had been working fine for months. In fact that's part of the reason why we don't really like installing anything new, since it seems to be flaky enough as it is. If it works...
I am running ArcServe 11.5 SP3 on A Dell PowerEdge 2950 Running Windows Server 2003 64 bit Edition SP2. Our Tape Library is a Dell PowerVault 124T. Up until about a month and a half ago, everything ran fine. But then it started to not back up,in a seemingly random fashion. The backup would say...
I realize this message is a little old now but I just bought five new Mac Pros. They are the "bottom of the line" 2.0 GHz machines with "only" 1 GB of RAM. They are running CS2. I have had zero issues with Photoshop, although the users aren't doing anything heavy with them. But they do use...
Well, non eof that helped me, unfortunately. There is no network policy on this machine. If I go into the administrator account I have the same problem. If I go into the registry and make the change there it doesn't stick, either. I did finally install Firefox, which did allow him to see this...
I am having an issue with one user being able to see images on a specific internal database entry in IE 6. When I went to clear the temporary internet files, the amount of disk space to use was set at something rediculous like 1192 MB. I'm assuming this is a certain percentage of the hard drive...
I am trying to restore some stuff but nothing I do will work. I get this message:
AE0059 RootDirectory(\\EDGE1\Edge1\W.I.P\ADS) is invalid
I'm assuming the problem is that the server is not called EDGE1. This must've been the old server a few years back. Is this the problem and what can I do...
Since other users who would have the same updates aren't having this problem, I doubt it but I will check. OK no, that didn't work. And yes, I have checked and unchecked the "Display PDF in Browser" about a thousand times. Thanks!
I tried deleteing the Adobe Folder and that did not work. i was hoping that might finally be it. PDFs will open fine, the browser plugin just won't do its jon, nor will PDFs automatically open the way they used to. I have uninstalled everything and installed about every version of Acrobat and...
I can no longer open PDFs automatically in the browser or in Acrobat when I click on the link. I don't think it's an acrobat problem and I don't think it's a browser problem as I've done everything I can think of, checked and unchecked ever option, uninstalled and reinstalled and so much more...
Can anyone recommend a good program to assign commonly used text strings to hot keys? Actually I don't want a program that you have to run everytime you start the computer. I want it to run in the system try or whatever automatically and always keep the same text and all that. This will be used...
I am trying to copy a tape for off-site storage. When I use the tapecopy command it tells me "Connect to target tape failed, rc[27]. Do you need two drives to copy a tape? If so is there any other way to copy a tape with only one drive? We have a tape library with 16 freakin slots in it.

I have two external SCSI drives that I cannot get our server to work with. They both come up fine on another server running the the same system (Win2K Server SP 4). Both servers are Dell's. The one they won't come up on used to work fine until I had to wipe the system. But I wiped another old...
My problem isn't really on the Macs though. Nothing has changed on the Macs. It's the Win2K server that changed, so I'm pretty sure it's a Windows problem.
I just had to rebuild a Win2K Server and now on multiple machines running OS 10.3.9 I am getting icons that change. One minute Quark docs will be fine and the next they will all be printer icons or server icons. Does anybody know what is causing this? They are all connecting via AppleTalk.

I said I didn't know if I was using the right terminology. I don't think it's off-base to cal a "cat" a catalog. Unless it means something else. I guess if ArcServe can't rebuild a tape that's a pretty bad shortcoming and pretty much seals the deal for me to use a different program. Thanks for...
So there's no way to rebuild a tape catalog if you happen to have lost the thing or something like that? I'd like to know because I'm sure it will happen sooner or later.
Yeah I've seen that document. All that does is tell me that there is really something wrong of the tape should have gotten a minimum of 10 more gigs on it. Every other tape that spans to another tape has at least 45 gig on the first one.
