For the past few weeks I have been running a Verint integrated with Symposium on a 4.01 (yes i know its old and patching/updating not an option right now) Everything has been running ok. In this site I actually have two different VAMs(verint call recording server) which Ill call VAM1 and VAM2...
I am working on an issue where we are having some agents that are not able to log into a blended (outbound and inbound) envt.
In comparing a good and bad phone(I have now compared 3 good and 3 bad) the only difference I see is on a good phone it has FCTB 1 and on a bad it has FCTB 0

So I have 7 phones out of 60 that are failing on a Symposium + Verint setup.. They show as failed on the Verint side which typically indicates something not programmed like AST on the phones.
I have checked all the important parts oft he phone for this and nothing was missed.
The big...
The main reason im doing it is because I do not want to have to double tap circuits for the Verint project I was working on..
Right now their is one major route that handles both side and side b..
I have 2 sides of my one office which are different projects...Side A and Side B.
Side A only has a specific set of TNs/DNs
Side B only has a specific set of TNs/DNs
What i would like to do is setup Side A to only use route 23 and side to only use route 20.
Should eb possible with NCOS...
that is their formula?? I wonder what that is suppose to do for them? What do they want from you? do they need Nortel Hex for each trunk channel? "
Basically what you do is connect your loop to a VPP (coupler) which then connects to the VAM(main server) the trunk value based on the fomula...
We are doing trunk side tapping...
The forumula Verint provided for determing trunk mapping on a nortel was 1000 * loop plus slot.
So for example loop 3(pri) would be 3001-3023 while loop 22 nonpri would be 22021-22024
Anyone setup a Symposium + Verint Call recording envt?
I am having a horrible time getting this to work.
Basically the verint connects to the Symposium/Meridian Link to get CTI. Along the way you have to map certain trunks and we just can not seem to ge this to match up.
Hopefully someone...
Working on integrating a Verint call recording into a Sympoisum 4.x envt and the manf needs to get the TN values in hex or decimal in a list to create what is called a trunk mapping.
A co-worker of mine believes that the engineering NTPs explain how to convert it but I do not have them avail...
