Hi - We have Nice Analyzer 3.1.19 and it stopped processing data on 4/11/11. Reboot did nothing. Our maint. & support provider told us they do not support it, even though we clearly paid for them to do so. None of the Avaya BP's in our area are able to help us, and many of them should know...
Copying files to the VAL board is easy and simple, if you have the proper file type to begin with. I gave the customer the Avaya parameters for the announcement file. The customer insisted that the file type was correct. When I checked it out using Sound Recorder/Properties, I noticed I had...
Using VAL Manager you can rename your announcement using the View/Rename Audio Files Properties Command but it WILL ERASE THE ORIGINAL Same thing if you change name using ASA to ch annc
PS Telecomturner simple answer to your post is: BUDGET
Thanks again. I will go with renaming it using VAL Manager. Regarding your advice to rename it in CM, are you saying that if you do this thru the web browser interface you will not erase the announcement, becuase if you do it thru SAT Terminal emulation or GEDI in ASA, annc is erased.
Should have told you that I cannot backup a file that has a file name of 27+ characters - not possible. So my dilemma is still this:
Problem is, I need to rename the announcement file without erasing it. The installation vendor created a file name that is beyond 27 characters. The file is a...
Thanks for the response. Problem is, I need to rename the announcement file without erasing it. The installation vendor created a file name that is beyond 27 characters. The file is a professional recording (paid for by the business) and I do not have a copy of the original recording.
Was finally able to get the VAL Manager to recognize my VAB on my G700, only to find out that the file name on several annc's is too many characters. Can I rename using VAL Manager to View/Rename Audio Files Properties without erasing the announcement?
Okay, so we know that 0 = the attendant console in the dial plan right now. It is possible to use a 2420 as the main answering point in place of the attd console.
Before embarking on your new plan, you will have to understand how calls get to the console both day and night. For example, are...
If you have an Avaya PBX, login and type the command disp dial ana and look for 0. It should show you the definition for 0 in the dial plan. Once you know that, let us know.
There are a few things I can think of:
1. EAD-LOA on skills instead of EAD-MIA
2. Change agent's login id to Greatest Need instead of Skill preference.
3. Wondering if timeout to ACW is happening in between calls or if ACW is used at all.
Perhaps you should try #1 first and watch the...
Thanks for the feedback. I should have been slightly more specific. I'm looking for an audible alert in Real Time Reports. I'm aware of audible alerts in Exception reports.
I agree with all of the above statements, we have cover paths and mailboxes assigned to the Agent login ID at our company. ACD Calls follow ACD routing in the vectors. Calls to the Agent Login that did not follow ACD routing will cover to the agents voice mail (example: one agent calls another...
By the way, how do people reach you from the outside world? Do you have a phone number that they can dial to connect directly to the phone at your desk? In other words, they don't have to go through an operator or an automated service from your company's main number to reach your extension...
Who supplies your local and long distance service? I would request information through them. Usually DID's are ordered through the same service provider that supplies your T1 trunking.
BCMS Vu (aka BCMS Desktop Reporting) has an AUDIBLE as well as visual alert feature for threshold settings in a report, does CMS Supervisor have the same functionality and if yes, where is it?
Thanks much!
