    21st Century Expression of Approval

Does it sound like we need to start some sort of support group? Maybe a 12-step program?

    21st Century Expression of Approval

I think I'm blushing! [blush] However, we can't forget the classic lounge lizard -- Unbuttoned shirt, waaayyy too tight pants, gold chains, slicked back hair, and a pinky ring, making some kind of tiger-like growl noise with a wink and a double finger point. [thumbsup2] EEEEEEWWWWWW! Kristie

How should I respond to idiots?

Whenever I "dog-sit" abbie I just call her "frankendog” [frankenstein] (it's ahhliiive!) that way it takes the edge off the awkwardness. People are already prepared for weirdness. All of these suggestions are fab! Thanks for the giggles!

I need a sign-off slogan for my radio show!

Dear gbaughma, I know I haven't met your daughter but think positively! Maybe your daughter is too brilliant for high school. Maybe she is an "out-of-the-box" thinker and one day she will dazzle you with an amazing and ingenious business idea then you will all have wealth beyond your...

I need a sign-off slogan for my radio show!

Personally, I like Dr.Laura's catch phrase--"Go do the right thing." However, not only is it taken but it doesn't seem business-like. Or is it? HMMMM. I love "mind your own business"! What about "We're minding your business"? Or just "minding your business"?

I need a sign-off slogan for my radio show!

Understandable Turkbear. Thanks for the input. As additional information, we are looking for a slogan for "branding" purposes as well not just for a sign-off.

I need a sign-off slogan for my radio show!

Our first sign-off was "Thanks for listening to inside your business where your business is our business and our business is none of your business" A little wordy huh?

Stupid Things I Have Heard At Work Part Deux

One of my favorites-- A wedding announcement posted in the break room read, "...we request the honor of your presents at a reception..." I did not attend, nor did my present.

New MAI Contest -- Name That Business

Well, my friends, I think we have picked a name. We love the name that KenCunningham submitted for"Proof Positive"! We like it because it sounds positive, still professional, and it is clever! The two entries that received the biggest laughs were from SamBones for "Snap Your Crap" and from...

New MAI Contest -- Name That Business

Since you MAIers are all so incredibly creative, I thought I would continue to tap into those creative juices (or whatever fluid floats your boat) and see who can come up with the best name for my new business. Basically, I go to client's homes and inventory all their stuff. I take digital...
