I just have the proc module and the Mail VS in slot 2 next to the proc. I programmed 28 and 29 into hunt group 7 and no good Can it just be those 2 modules in the carrier?
I did try it with a 206ec in slot 1, mail vs in slot 2 and the proc. Kept extension 28 & 29 in hunt 7 still no good.
I have a 5 Slot carrier with the 8.0 is center slot and Mail VS in Slot 2. I can reach the Mail VS by dialing 777 but I can't seem to get the right extensions into Hunt Group #7. If I program 28 & 29 incoming calls get intercepted and the "call is being transferred to receptionist"...
I have a user that is set up with soft phone as a telecommuter.
The call process is:
Call is received at inbound DID # and station rings on remote client computer > Switch selects a outgoing trunk and dials the telecommuter number > Telecommuter phone rings and that it where the problem starts...
Through some trial, and lots of error, I found that it was AVG AV causing the issue. There is a little know AVG knowledgebase article on files in SBS Excahnge Server that should be excluded from monitoring and virus scanning.
Once that was set, the performance report was reset and the server...
Suddenly this week the daily server reports emailed to me are in MIME and not HTML format. If you log onto the the server and view the report it is fine.
I reset the email settings and that produced no change.
Server is running AVG server edition.
I can't find any information in Microsoft so...
What if you need to make calls from the second line? I have an issue where the call appearences relate to different companies and I pass CPN on a extension specific basis. I need call appear 1 to pass one cpn and call appearence 2 to pass a different one.
I have a Dell Dimension 5150 Desktop running Windows Home Server with two internal SATA Maxtor 500 GB 7200 RPM Diamond Max drives.
The reported temp on the two drives is 50-55 C generally. I have an external fan blowing on the the front air inputs and all the Dell device fans are operating...
I work at a small business (50 employees) and we have a Firebox 750. We run VBPN and several IpSec tunnels as well as the UTM package. I have never been thrilled with the way you administer it and the difficulty in making changes.
I want to replace with a UTM/Router that does not need a...
It does not make sense but it happens are the clints computers each time their domain password expires and they create a new one. Right after, when they pop into our mail server it fails because the password for the account was overridden by the domain logon password.
I can't be the only one...
No that's the funny part of this. It is a standard POP3 email account in Outlook 2003 and when the client changes domain password due to expiration or whathaveyou, the password on the Outlook POP3 email account resides on the client's computer assumes the new password.
It is the standard password expiration and the user gets the "your password will expire in __ days" message. When they change the password. Because windows assumes the use of Exchange it just changes the Oulook account password. Since we don't use Excahnage so everytime the password change...
Whenever a domain user makes a change to their domain password, SBS 03 changes the password on their Outlook 2003 email account too. This would be fine if I was using exchange, but I use a seperate mail server with seperate passwords. When the domain password is changed the client can no...
So you are saying if Exchange is listed in the client email accounts list this deletion will happen?
I don't use exchange because we operate our web/mail servers at a secure co-location facility off site from our office. Our office location does not have the a generator or redundant internet...
I'm running SBS 03 and when a Client or Admin change a domain password the Oulook password is deleted on the client computer.
I'm not running exchange and the domain and email passwords are different and not related. Every password change cycle for me is a nightmare.
Any ideas on a group...
Is there a way on the 6408/6416D's to program an unused button to autodial to an outside number? In the old days you could pop the phone into programming mode and do it.
