I use Win CVS to check in all the sources. Howevre I dont think Mercator 6.7.1 can detect CVS as a version control tool. So I create the maps and check and source codes and compiled codes as binary files into CVS.

If you are using mercator to do a put of a file you shouldnt have a problem, because mercator automatically creates the temporary files and then renames them after the put.
