Has anyone used the WinCVS source control tool for Merctaor projects? If so, how do you get Mercator to recognise this in File>Source Control>Create Project ???

Mercator keeps reporting it is unable to detect any version management software?

Which version of both programs? Did you register the DataStage TX programs in WinCVS?

Mercator 6.7.1

WinCVS V1.2

Yes I think I have registered the programs but having never used it you can never be sure

I use Win CVS to check in all the sources. Howevre I dont think Mercator 6.7.1 can detect CVS as a version control tool.

So I create the maps and check and source codes and compiled codes as binary files into CVS.
