We just recently moved to a Cisco Jabber platform in our law firm, but still have some old Nortel / Avaya IP Phones (1140's & I2004's) that we would like to possibly integrate within the new platform.
Is there a away to reset the Nortel IP phones in order to allow for them to be used on our...
Thank you yyrkroon. Your answer was most helpful and took me right to where I needed to go to get the result I was pulling what is left of my hair out for - which is getting the ever so elusive dial tone.
Thanks again

I have an option 11 and am trying to program a new i2004 set onto the switch. We have enough liscences to cover us but in the set programing, as a final step - it asks for a node number and tn address. I have the TN but am having diffuculty identifying what the node number could be. Can some...
Does anyone know what the proper procedure is for programing an i2050 soft phone into an Option 11C switch. I went to copy the software from on TN to another, but it did not seem to recognize the new phone. Can anyone help me out.
I am trying to program new i2004's & i2050 sets into our Option 11 C switch. When the Bell tech was here doing the original installation of the VOIP sets' he programmed them on TN's that were in consecutive sequence (in our case that is everything from 69 - 0 to 69 -7. We added new licences...
Hello pacojonezl40

I have a 2006 set and a 2616 set on an OPTION 11C phone system and I was wondering if any one can tell me how to change the primary key in both cases to be one way hot lines to our reception. In the manuals, the programming is not very specific even though it offers 7 different ways with out...

Yes but I was not looking for access to the corporate directory, I was told when we purchased the system, that we could program individual directories.
Is the only option available to me to use the corporate one?
And no liquid - yet
Thanks biv343. The Bell Tech (who can not help in this matter at the moment)tell me that the individual directories on the i2004 and associated with the TN and ont the signalling server. Its too bad the same tech can not tell me how to activate the i2004 directory but such is life. Thanks anyways
We are starting the process of migrating toward VOIP and with our new i2004 phones we have encountered a problem. Whenever we depress the dircetory button, we get a "No Application Available" message displayed on the screen. Is there a way to activate the directory using the i2004 phone? Is...
