Greetings All

I have an Option 11C that is not under warranty and is still loyally changing the DST for me automatically. The problem is that this year our government has decided to change when DST takes place, and now I have to make our OPTION 11C understand those changes. Can someone give me some tips as to what specifically I should access?

Is it the CDB?

What specifically should I be looking for?

Please advise

In ld 2 you can view what you have. It should look something like this:

SDST ON
FWTM APR 1 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 1/4/2007 )
BWTM OCT L SUN 2 (AT 02:00 28/10/2007 )

You will need to set Daylight Savings Time from a command line using system terminal.

Log into overlay 2 (LD 2).
Use the following commands to print and set the DST date and time.
TDST = Print the current DST information
SDST = set to ON enables the automatic change capability FWTM = Set the date and time for the clock to move forward.

Second Sunday in March.
SDST ONFWTM MAR 2 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 11/3/2007)
BWTM = Set the date and time for the clock to move backward: First Sunday in November.
BWTM NOV 1 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 4/11/2007)

Thank you ttredd1

Your post was not only most helpful, but very practical it self. I have implemented the changes and it looks now like everything set to go.

Thanks again

James Siedlecki.

No problem. We are going thru the planning phase of all our systems and this DST is a huge deal.

Glad to be of help.

The panic with DST is almost to the level of Y2K? Thank Sir Sanford Fleming; may he rot.

In the last 15 years no one has ever mentioned DST. Yet in the last month everybody and their dog have been in panic mode.
