THis sounds similar to an issue I had with using the Conference key to transfer callers to CallCenter phones. I had to use the transfer key in this scenario.....

My bet is that the caller is on a cell phone and music does not do well after being converted thru the path, plus the callers background noise gets picked up easier because people on cell phones are not usually in a controlled environment.. driving with window down,, outside in a crowd, etc....

I generally will disable the set before I delete it. This just insures I am not cutting off a phone call.
