The workstation in question has norton firewall installed, and unbenown to me had the settings changed. This was to block all messages from the server.

Yes the IP address is set to an internal network. They were working fine at one stage.
No I havent installed DSCLIEN.EXE, Im not sure what that does, prehaps you would be kind enough to elighten me.

Have you tried to install the latest device drivers for your hardware. Had the same problem a couple of years ago with a P133. Loaded the motherboard VIA drivers and Video Drivers and seemed to clear this up.
I would sugest to load the appropriate motherboard drivers from their web sites...

Had some problems using ICS with windows 2000 and win98se at some of my clients. To overcome this problem I have used some software found at http://www.software602.com, Lan Suite consisting of ICS and Mail Daemon, registered free for upto 5 users. Found this to be easier to set up.
