At my previous job, I used the Siecor Uni-cam (no expoxy) termination kit for fiber terminations. I got fairly confortable using that kit. My question is: Can anyone suggest a better or different kit to use? I saw that Leviton and 3M also have similar kits.

If you connect your fibers like you mentioned, you will not have any extra capacity at all on the 850'leg. You are probably better off running the 3 homerun cables and then you don't have to worry about db loss either.
The port was active and functioning and suddenly just died. I will re-boot the module this weekend and hopefully it will come back up. I also looked in maintenance and the port was enabled, I disabled the port and then re-enabled it, but still no dial tone.

Recently, I had a fax machine that had no dial tone and after investigating the problem found that the port(07) had no dial tone. Fortunately I had another port and moved the wiring over to that one to fix my problem.

I installed a new phone and I while trying to change the DN the system would not let me change the number to what I wanted. It defaulted to 2144 and I wanted to change it to 4439, to match the DID. It will let me change it to the 4300 series but not the 4400 series.
