I installed a new phone and I while trying to change the DN the system would not let me change the number to what I wanted. It defaulted to 2144 and I wanted to change it to 4439, to match the DID. It will let me change it to the 4300 series but not the 4400 series.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Are you going under system programming to Change DNs? There you should be able to put in the old dn then the new dn to change it.

Yes, I am going into system programming and then to "change DN"

Will it let you change it to anything in the 4500 series?

MRoberts

I tried 4500-4900 and still will not work. It goes up to 4399 and stops there.
Thanks.

I was just thinking that perhaps those upper ranges are B2 DNs? In which case there's not a whole lot you can do about that as far as I know.
What was your starting point?
