    Change from pulsed dialing

The buttset is set to "T". Changing it to DTN stopped the pulse generator from starting but I still have about 15 seconds of silence before I get a fast busy signal. I changed the DN's to CLS=DTN in LD 14 and some other things in Ld 16 to make this route the same as another but did...

    Change from pulsed dialing

I have a route that is pulse dialing and I want to change it to tone dialing. Where in LD 16 do I make it happen? I made all the RDB parameters the same as another COT route but it still uses the pulse generator. Do I need to re-boot the system? Thanks for any help.

    secretarial filtering

Does the Magix system have the ability to do secretarial filtering? Or the ability to separate extensions so that all internal calls must go through another phone before they connect to the final extension?

    Access Restrictions

Thank you for replying to this thread. When I printed the RLB I did not see route 2 listed on any entries. I see the 2 routes (6 and 9)that work on many different entries, but not sure what it all means. I'm guessing that the addition of route 3 is not a change but a NEW? What other info will...

Route a range of extensions to another route rather than the default

where do I enable a trunk and it's members to be used for outgoing calls? I can receive calls on them but not call out on them. Eventually I will want a group of extentions to call out on this route.

    Access Restrictions

The TARG/TGAR barring is setup on my switch and works for 2 of the companies sharing the switch (tgar 1 = route 6: tgar 3 = route 1), but I'm having trouble with tgar 2 = route 3. I can get my phone to change between the 2 routes with the TGAR value and check it with call accounting software...

forward calls from attendant console to other dn

When our operator is at lunch, all incoming calls need to be forwarded to another phone. Is this setup at the console or in software? Can separate trunks and their members be forwarded to different phones?

    outgoing call routing setup

I have 3 companies sharing my meridian, company "c" calls are going out on company "a" lines. How do I re-route their outgoing calls to go out on their own lines? Where do I print this info and where do I change it?

add internal 800 to 899 DNs

if I change my SPRE code to 88, will this allow me to use the 800s for extensions except for 880 thru 889? when changing the customer data block in LD 15, do you just hit <cr> until you get to the item that you want to change or do you have to enter all the items in as you see them?

add internal 800 to 899 DNs

How do you allow or configure a meridian1 option 11c release 17 to allow dns 800 thru 899 to be usable? The system won't allow me to change key 00 to this range of numbers. There are plenty of available TNs. There are no currently setup 800 or 900 extentions, just 100 thru 799.

found the problem, thanks for the help the system was built with a pretranslation (XLST) level to prevent internal callers from accessing the 100's
