Why haven't you bothered to patch ArcServe 2000? I run AS2K on a NT4-postSP6a server and have installed all the major SP's (at SP4 at this writing) The backup software runs better than when I installed it off the Computer Associates CD. Give it a try I think you will be pleased! Tim Benton...
First line support is correct in this scenario. Arcserve running on the NetWare server has more options for restore than thru the NWAgent. The NWAgent is a Push agent and really is not very sophisticated in features, in comparison to the full product. Tim Benton

In NetWare 6 the cdrom drive has to meet the El Torito standard (bootable) and then you just type cdrom at the console prompt. Type Volumes to check for the mounted CD volume. Tim Benton

Go to support.ca.com and search for document 30010, titled "Installation and Signature distribution from a Novell Server". Then search for document 31091 that describes how to create the ino.sam file for Windows 9x pc's.
It sounds like you are using the Workgroup edition of InoculateIT. W/E limits you to one server. The Advanced Edition(A/E) allows more servers than one. If this is not the case then check the first frametype being loaded on the NW4.11 servers. Make sure it is 802.2. Also check your w/s...
