Can you remove greetings without rebuilding mailbox?

We are running CP 2.02 and we want to remove all the recorded greetings for a mailbox with out deleting the mailbox itself. (mailboxes are part of mutiple distribution lists) Short of logging into the mailbox and recording dead air, is this possible?

    Custom braodcast message creation/upload

I have a user that wants to send custom messages to a predefined distribution list (sales reps) starting with a custom jingle/music recording, followed by his message, and closing with jingle/music. Any ideas on the best approach? I am using CP 02.01 on a Opt 11c.

    ITG DSP's vs calls

Thanks for te replies. I was kinda hoping I had it right, obviously wishful thinking never gets you by Nortel. Anyway. I neglected to say that we are using strictly 3900 series phones, but it doesn't sound like it will matter. Is there a good way to track the number of concurrent calls...

    ITG DSP's vs calls

Is there a direct 1:1 ratio of trunks to DSP's on a ITG card? I have 10 trunks programmed in my RDB for ITG between sites. (All three sites are programmed the same, except for route number) I just displayed the number of DSP's on my card via the command line and it shows 8. Number of DSPs =...

    Help Calls keep dropping

I am having a very similar problem with ITG calls and some unconfirmed external calls, they just go away for no apparent reason. The quality is fine, then BAM! call drops. It does seem suspicious that this hapopening on 3904 phones and not my 3905 and 3's.(HMMMMMMM). Seriously though, it is...

    Analog phone lockdown

Using TARG/TGAR to restrict acces is the easiest way. By setting a TARG on your route in LD 16 and then restricting the unit with TGAR when programming it, you should be able to lockdown what routes they have access to.

Digital Polycom phones - worth it?

It looks like it was the power supply that was bad. My other two sites received their units and they worked fine. I am not sure if the quality is any better, but as stated in previous replies, you can do some programming for added features. Good Luck!

    Pick Groups ?

As far as I know there is not a way to print unused groups. It is a lengthy process to go through and print the used RNPG's to find an unused one. Overlay 81 will do this: OVL000 >ld 81 FEA000 MARP NOT ACTIVATED REQ lst CUST 0 DATE <enter> PAGE <enter> DES <enter> FEAT rnp...

Digital Polycom phones - worth it?

I did the 'ol stare and compare and cannot find a difference other then a couple of "CLS" items of no importance. I am starting to believe that it could very well be the power supply unit. When I unplug the power supply, the pass-through port starts to work for my digital phone (a M3903)...

Digital Polycom phones - worth it?

I have spent the last 2 days tryig to get the 550d to work on my 11c. At this point, I would not even play with the digital and stay with the analog Polycom. Sometimes it pays to stay with what works. (BTW, I have tried numerous configurations 2616, 3902, etc... nothing seems to work)...
