Don, No I don't think I'm going to make it, but Mike Leahy is going to be advocating for us on this issue. Bill

    Purge Matched AR

We've gone from about 18 gigs in March of 07 to 41 gigs this year. The vast majority of that comes from a single customer, and opening the card for that customer is getting to be an issue for accounting. My guess is that we will hit 100 gigs by this time next year....

Walmart - Large Remittance advices and Macola

You might want to talk to Mike Leahy, he has worked out something for us that we use for SNBC. Importing cash receipts from a file that contains anywhere from 100-3000 records. I think my AR guy is pretty happy with the result. Bill

    AR Matching

Good Morning, I have a question about ways to simplify matching. Yesterday we recieved 1300 PO's via EDI, created 1300 sales orders in Macola ES 360. We then shipped, invoiced and billed all of theose and sent 1300 invoices back to our customer, they will in turn send us an electronic version...

    Vantage Point EDI

Jonathan, All in all the whole thing went pretty well, the biggest problem came after we went into production and was caused by bad testing on the VAN's part. But aside from that I think things turned out pretty much as excpected. I was a little surprised at the lack of functionality in regards...

    Vantage Point EDI

I was under the impression that Datamasons and Vantage Point were the EDI solution for Exact. Is that not the case?

    Windows 2003 R2

We're running a 2003 terminal server that sales reps use to access Macola. Only issue we had was getting all the .dll's to the user folders for the crystal reports to run.

    Windows 2003 R2

We're running it on our server that hosts eSynergy. Seems to be working just fine so far.

    EDI and Sales Orders

Good Morning, I read back through some of the threads on EDI and still have a couple of questions. We are implementing a shipping solution called Digital Shipper, which will pull down our sales via EDI and drop them into a MSSQL database. The software then waits for a shipping person to scan or...

    Birddog Software -POS

Don, Batch 360 was put into general release way back in December, and then pulled because of all the problems it was causing. Bill

    Macola ES Problems

Pronet, We did the 360 upgrade in at the begining of the year, BEFORE they puled the rollout and tried to retool. What a mess, reports either took forever to generate or wouldn't work at all, machines were getting locked up, and management was pissed that when they got word we upgraded right...

Telecommute Soln's - Remote Access for Dummies

I use both WebEx to connect to my work PC, and Remote Desktop to connect to the Terminal server. While the Webex is a bit slower I do get everything I need and all the same access. I don't know what it's like with Progression, but with ES the setup on the Terminal server can be tricky, and your...

    Birddog Software -POS

Good Morning, We just had a demo of this software yesterday and asked the very same questions. It took them about 3 hours to come back and say "yes there is one place using Birddog and ES", as far as all the questions the answer was "we 're looking into adding that to the system". Bootom line is...

    Macola ES Pick Slip options

We made our own pick slip with Crystal that uses a stored procedure to change the status of the order. Shows all bins available to pick from, bin quantity, and weather or not a partial pick has all ready been made. Also use a nightly job that sets the picking order to one that leads the pickers...
