Hello there
Thanks very much for the tip! Why is Adobe 98 better to work on? I'm trying to get the screen to look something like the printed results which seems quite difficult...
Also, Why was I having problems changing it back to the other profile?
Thanks alot!

Hello there everyone..
I am using photoshop 7 on an emac. I was playing around with the colour calibration in system preferences and now when anyone brings in images from other machines i get the message "embedded profile mismatch".

Hi there..
I have form with a command button that launches a query. It brings up a datasheet of results with numerous columns:
STUDENT_NAME, COURSE, EQUIPMENT, DATE_DUE_BACK, OVERDUE etc.
At the moment you can edit all the records. I was worried that users may alter these results accidently...
Hi there!
Sorry for not replying for a while been tied up, but I think it's sorted now.
Thankyou lespaul for the tip about having a field named date. A schoolboy error and no mistake!
Appreciate everyones continual help on this forum, as my questions continue also!
Cheers
Phil.
I have opened the query properties for the parameter query and entered 'DATE' in the order by (DATE being the name of the field).
Removing the sort ascending from the field solved the initial problem, but it doesn't appear in date order still..
Probably done something wrong!
Thanks alot for...
I have made a form that I have been using succesfully for a while now. There is a command button that launches a parameter query. The query asks you to enter a student name, and this brings up all results matching this name.
Whilst looking at one of these query results, I decided it would be...
Hi there,
Of course! Thank you, that's made my day..I had to change the column(2) to .column(1) to make it work, but now it works fine!
Is there a way of changing the text in the message? ie. size and colour? I thought a nice bold red message would look rather cool!
Cheers
Phil.
Hi there!
Thanks to all of you for replying so quickly, some good ideas on how to progress.
I have started down the route of Kenreay's idea (as it was the first!).
I have included a yes/no column called 'sinners' in the list of fields selected in the query, then set the width of the column to...

Hi All!
When I open my form, the info from the last record is displayed in the fields. I have put in a 'add new record' button which works fine.
I want the 'on open' of the form to automatically add a new record so the form is blank from the start.
I've tried using a macro, but couldn't find...
Right.
'COURSE' and 'STUDENT NAME(F/T)' are both fields in the table 'STUDENT NAMES'. Is it case sensitive? I've tried both anyway!
Again when you click on the drop down on the form, it comes up with a parameter query window that says 'ENTER PARAMETER VALUE - STUDENT NAME(F/T) STUDENT NAMES'...
Hey there,
I tried this and it came up with a parameter query window when I clicked on the drop down menu?! The window says 'course.STUDENT NAME(F/T)'.
Now i'm confused??
I click ok and the drop down menu appears, so I select a name and no go..
Have you any ideas on this one?! If you get fed...
Hi there everyone...
I have a database for logging the signing out of kit. One of the fields is 'Date due back'. At the moment I can find out what is due back each morning by doing a query for items due back that particular day.
What I would like to do is a query that will show records that...
Hi there..
This is what is in the row source for the drop down menu entitled 'STUDENT NAME' on the form:
SELECT [STUDENT NAMES].[STUDENT NAME (F/T)] FROM [STUDENT NAMES];
And the 'course' field on the form isn't a drop down menu.
Cheers for your help!
Phil.
