I had a similar problem to you, but we were upgrading to new os. The only way round this is to recreate a new account for the user and transfer the emails.

I am using outlook 2003, but the notes folder is not visible. I can go to file/open/other user's folder/then type in my name and select notes, this will then show me the notes. But the notes icon is not displayed in the all folder view or mail view.

Thanks that worked a treat. Open personal.xls changed to autocalc settings in the tools/options. closed and saved settings. Opened spreadsheet no problems.

I have set up two mailboxes to run from outlook 2000. When i send an email, the default mailbox it will send from is the first mailbox.
How can i default my outlook so that when im in the inbox (of the second mailbox), emails sent will be on behalf of that account and not the original.
I have experienced the exact same problem with my "mr boss", and it is true. outlook 2000 can change the formatting to rich text even if email received is in Plain text.
If you do find a way of setting up the default text (in email.dot) and saving it, then please let me know.
