    Using 1720 for PPTP host

Does anyone have any example configs for working IOS configs to use PPTP with MPPE to connect a cable modem user to his corporate office? I can get the PPTP VPN established and I can ping computers on the local net once connected but I can't get any mapping or apps like PCA to work.

    Multiple routes with Route-Map?

I have a T1 connection to an office building which hauls accounting information on a private network to a service provider. Multiple office networks in the building connect to our router and use it as their default gateway by using secondary addresses on the ethernet port. The remote site they...

    Multihoming without BGP

I'm fighting this right now with multiple T1's to two different providers. I can route inbound no problem but outbound traffic is problematic. Provider A sends me 216.253.XXX.XXX and provider B sends me 12.58.XXX.XXX and if I set up load balancing by IP ROUTE 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 216.253.XXX.001 IP...

Backup of Sub-Interface possible with static routes?

Lets assume two frame relay t1's coming into a router, the intent being that if one t1 fails the other will carry the load. Say it's a 1720 with two WIC's. S0 connects to the frame cloud, S0.1 has a PVC with DLCI 16 which points to the upstram neighbor using the IP of E0. S1 connects to the...

    DSL

I would argue the statement that DSL cannot run over Frame Relay. We provision Verizon DSL over a Frame Relay T1 using a BVI interface on a cisco router where the frame T is terminated. The Telco creates PVC's that point from the customers DSL to our Frame connection.
