Nope, nothing. I've had this setup for a while but don't know what caused that to change. I might download a tweaking program or something and see if they have that setting.- tbad1986

Have you downloaded the "USR Control Center"? It logs into their FTP and then finds if any updates are available. Make sure you read the "readme.txt" first or you won't be able to connect to their server.- tbad1986

The $ is an input though. I get it from a form and I can't tell them to put a \ in front of it because I know someone won't do it and will mess it up. Is there a way I can automatically add it if there is a $ in a form box? -

I'm having trouble with my news script. Right now when I put a $ it thinks that it should have a value and then prints nothing. So if I put something like "the x costs $4.56" it only prints "the x costs" and that would be it. If someone knows how to print a $ without it... -

A Ping (Determination of MTU) question
Com port speed only effects the speed at which the data goes from the computer to the modem. Once it hits the modem it must slow down to the dial-up speed. Raising it above 115200 is overkill for 56k. "28.8Kbps to 33.6Kbps (ITU-T V.34 protocol) Indicates the line is so close to perfect...- tbad1986

"Toolbars" Disabled - Only on My Account
I've been having a problem with my Toolbars. Recently I changed TweakUI to "Disable Web on Desktop" but now I can't get it back, meaning that when you right click the toolbar and try to add QuickLaunch/etc--they are "faded" out and you can't click them. I can't figure out...- tbad1986

A Ping (Determination of MTU) question
From what I hear, 98 will not accept an MTU lower than 576. I'm guessing you didn't raise your MTU to 1500 (and restart) then ping your ISPs site. ping -f -l 1472 www.yourisp.com is the max you can do. You take the MTU (576, 1000, 1500 normally) then subtract 28. 1472=1500, 972=1000...- tbad1986
