Hi All
We run a cluster of exchange 2003 servers.
Because IMF does not run on clusters, we installed IMF on the workstastions of those users who had the most serious spam problems.
It has worked well, and most of those users have built large black and whitelists.
Now we need a solution for...
Thanks for your suggestions.
Actually, we have made NO changes to the configuration as far as I know, and the only person who has access to the system does not have any idea how to make changes. So it appears that the problem happened "magically" by itself.
Regards, F983, thanks, we'll try...
I am not sure if your post is facetious or not, but in any case the answer is "no".
it is the external caller who hears that message, which I assume is generated by the startalk.
Can anybody suggest something?
Any idea how can we check if DND has somehow been enabled on that port?
Thanks
Ron
Hi all
We have a MICS that uses a VMI to connect a standard (analog) telephone.
Now we have a problem that when a caller dials the ext for the analog phone (via the VMI box), they get a message "the person you have called is not available. using the dialpad, please enter the ext you wish to...

No cables, nothing.
We cannot see any obvious place for a power cable or even a transformer.
Can somebody please help me to figure out how to get this powered up!?!
Thanks
Ron

1) When calling internally from a normal extention to an ATA extention, it seems impossible to send DMTF tones without using feature 808. Do you know any way to fix this so it is not necessary to use...
ok, maybe it will be helpful if I am more clear about what I need to do:
we have a normal handset connected to an ATA.
the user on that handset needs to be able to dial both internal extentials and place external calls.
Normally the user dials "9" to get an outside line from the...
Hi All (Again)
Does anybody know how to choose an outside line (for the purpose of making an outgoing call) on an ATA connecting to an MICS8x24 DR5?
Basically, I want the user to be able to pick up the handset and choose exactly line 3 (for example) to place their call.
Thanks!
Ron
