I am embedding the Excel or PDF file into a blank Crystal Report - this creates the approrpiate icon in the Crystal Report.
I'm trying to use Eportfolio as a single point of distribution for Crystal Reports, Excel reports and PDF files.

I have a stored procedure which requires datetime parameter. When I create a CR on the SP, CR automatically creates parameters matching those in the SP.
However, I want the user to enter DATE parameters and not DATETIME parameters.
EG I want the use to enter @From = 01 Jan 2003 , @To = 31...

I ran a few tests on my dataset:
Query Analyser first run: 14 secs
Web viewer: 9 secs
Query Analyser second run: 8 secs
So no, no performance issues there. I'm using CE 8.0 and the ActiveX viewer.

Thanks, I got it working in the end. I used something similar, a formula in the RH section and then 'mock' page headers in the GH section.
I'm new to Crystal, and still on the learning curve!
Every time you add a view or table in the SQL database you need to quit and restart CR - I haven't found a way to force it to refresh the list.
Can you paste the sequel statement from Crystal?

Is the best solution to install CR on the CE server and remote terminal into it?
I've tried duplicating the directories (ie file in C:\reports on my machine and c:\reports on Enterprise machine) and that doesn't work.
Is there a log anywhere that gives an error (file not found)?
I have a simple report which contains an icon to a PDF and an Excel spreadsheet. When I open the report in Crystal Reports and click the icons, the appropriate program starts and loads the file.
