PDF/Spreadsheet in Wen Reporting Environment?

Hi,

Can someone give a step by step guide on how to do this?

I have CR on my desktop, and save the report in a shared directory on the server hosting CE.

I run the report publishing tool to add the report, and then view it using Eportfolio.

On my PC, clicking the PDF/Excel Icon opens either Acrobat or Excel and displays the file.

On the 'live' report in Eportfolio, clicking the Icon does nothing.

I've no idea what icon on your PC you're referring to. perhaps you're using CE 9, which I don't have.

PDF and Excel are exports within Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise.

CE 8.5 Professional allows you to set a default view of either PDF or Excel by selecting Preferences->View My Report using the...

I am embedding the Excel or PDF file into a blank Crystal Report - this creates the approrpiate icon in the Crystal Report.

I'm trying to use Eportfolio as a single point of distribution for Crystal Reports, Excel reports and PDF files.

CR8.5, CE8.0
