When the Shut down dialogue box comes up there is no Shut Down option! Only restart or Log off, Ctrl Alt del and even Alt F4 have the same effect. is there a way to change this?

I've just set up a network (first ever) everything is working as it should, except I cannot get the read only tick off my shared folders. It does seem to do it, but as soon as I go back into properties its back. Its greyed out, but still there. Any ideas?

Trying to put a border on a word document, it shows in normal view, but in Print preview the bottom line does not show, nor does it print. I have tried adjusting the bottom margin but it doesn't help.
When inserting ClipArt into a word document, the picture itself is not showing, although it shows on Print Prevew. The placement points appear, and the 'box' can be moved. Any ideas?
If you you go to settings and printers, open up the dialogue box, leave it open. Then find the network printer on the network drag and drop it into the printers dialogue box, it should automaticly find the correct path for you, then set to default.
I have windows 2000, My Outlook Express will not remember my passwords and I have to re-enter them every time I open it. Is there someway I can reset them to be remembered. I have tried ticking the box in setup.
I'm trying to make an 'hours worked' spreadsheet. I set the cells to time and can add and subtract hours. IE 1600to 2000 = 4 hours. I can then total them up for the week. However, when I try to set my weekly hours IE 37 (lucky Me) so I can either add or subtract the totals it all goes badly...

OK, All I have done so far is played with properties,
I set the Control to '=Date()' and ValueIsNull to 'No'. That did then open the calander on the present date, but the calader was inactive. When you say put in the On Current

Go to Format in the menu tool bar, select Bullets and numbering. Click on one of the boxes. Click on Customize. Click on Font or Bullet, select one that appeals to you, there are hundreds of variations. Click on OK, that should now be your de-fault bullet.
